Damyan Tsankov vs Cong Ouyoung

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Shenzhen Concert Hall, Shenzhen,  taking place on 04/01/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Damyan Tsankov (8 - 0 - 1) who hails from Sofia, Bulgaria and Cong Ouyoung(9 - 5) from Tangshan, China.  Both Tsankov and Ouyoung weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Genjo Lui, and the three ringside judges are Shing Jou, Uang Tso and Chen Sing.  

Round 1:

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Tsankov.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
