Jax Lumontad vs Diego Panimdim

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Rizal promoted show at Antipolo Diaz, Antipolo,  taking place on 29/12/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Rizal Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jax Lumontad (8 - 5 - 1) who hails from Cainta, Philippines and Diego Panimdim(10 - 3 - 2) from Cainta, Philippines.  Both Lumontad and Panimdim weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Macapinlac, and the three ringside judges are Rafael Camargo, Alejandro Zevallos and Jesus Katipunan.  

Round 1: 

Lumontad lands a jab.

Panimdim steps inside.  As Lumontad tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Panimdim has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Panimdim gets on the inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Panimdim dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Panimdim closes the distance.  Lumontad is on target with a right hook.
