Matthew McCormick vs Montraie Shongwe

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at RDS Arena, Dublin,  taking place on 17/01/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matthew McCormick (8 - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Montraie Shongwe(10 - 5 - 2) from Mamelodi, South Africa.  Both McCormick and Shongwe weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carl MacRae, and the three ringside judges are Joshua MacCarthy, Rob Nesmith and Nathan Fitzgerald.
