Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 16/01/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Jose Nepomuceno (3 - 0) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Michael Cowan(5 - 1) from Wollongong, Australia.  Both Nepomuceno and Cowan weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neil McAllaster, and the three ringside judges are Ewan Duffy, Chris Weir and Hugh Durie.  

Round 1: 

Nepomuceno strikes his opponents body with a jab.
