Yuji Yoshida vs Akira Hoshino

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Tokyo promoted show at Tokyo Yamamoto, Tokyo,  taking place on 23/12/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Yuji Yoshida (9 - 0) who hails from Kitakyushu, Japan and Akira Hoshino(3 - 1 - 2) from Tokorozawa, Japan.  Yoshida weighed in at 107 pounds and 5 ounces, while Hoshino weighed in at 107 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Goro Oyama, and the three ringside judges are Keiichi Iida, Hikaru Mikami and Dai Ishikawa.  

Round 1: 

Hoshino pivots to the right of his opponent.  Yoshida hits home with a cross.

Yoshida gets on the inside and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Yoshida lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Yoshida sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Yoshida pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Yoshida lands a double left hook to his opponents head.
