Juan Montemayor vs Juan Valencia

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Lara promoted show at Barquisimeto Quinteros, Barquisimeto,  taking place on 02/01/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Juan Montemayor (15 - 1) who hails from Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela and Juan Valencia(12 - 3) from Barquisimeto, Venezuela.  Montemayor weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Valencia weighed in at 147 pounds.
