Alen Carroll vs John Fyffe

Boxing Daily Report from the Fuseini Promotions promoted show at Boston Salmon, Boston,  taking place on 02/01/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Massachusetts Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alen Carroll (7 - 2 - 3) who hails from Boston, USA and John Fyffe(3 - 9 - 2) from Boston, USA.  Both Carroll and Fyffe weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Evans, and the three ringside judges are Bilal Elbaz, Ian Noble and Nathan Burt.  

Round 1: 

Carroll steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Fyffe pivots to the side of his opponent and throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Carroll time to recover.
