Marlen Abdibeck vs Evgeny Gasymov

Boxing Daily Report from the Zungu Promotions promoted show at Samarqand Nagiyev, Samarqand,  taking place on 02/01/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uzbekistan-Samarqand Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Uzbek Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Marlen Abdibeck (8 - 1) who hails from Samarqand, Uzbekistan and Evgeny Gasymov(11 - 2) from Samarqand, Uzbekistan.  Both Abdibeck and Gasymov weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yaman Janaliyev, and the three ringside judges are Mikhail Valihanow, Mahir Azizi and Fedya Baylarbayov.
