Sam Glasco vs Dan Garr

Boxing Daily Report from the Monster Promotions promoted show at Monster Gym, London,  taking place on 11/01/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Sam Glasco (6 - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Dan Garr(1 - 5 - 3) from Omaha, USA.  Glasco weighed in at 111 pounds And 15 ounces, while Garr weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kian Clanahan, and the three ringside judges are Chris Ruskin, Neil Cowans and Jordan Haworth.  

Round 1: 

Glasco digs in a sharp left hook to Garr's liver.  
Glasco is on target with a jab.  
Glasco steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Garr quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Glasco lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Glasco holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Glasco pushes his forearm into Garr's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Glasco.  
Garr steps to the outside.  Glasco is on target with a jab.  
Glasco advances into close range and forces Garr to retreat onto the ropes.  Glasco sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a stinging right uppercut into Garr's body.  
Garr tries to keep the action at long range.  Glasco hits home with a cross.  
Glasco closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Glasco pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Glasco digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Glasco is looking to close the distance.  Garr throws a right uppercut, but Glasco ties up his opponent.  Glasco leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
