Ebi Hachibamba vs Duante Matongo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zambia-Copperbelt promoted show at Kitwe Kamuhuzya, Kitwe,  taking place on 03/01/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Zambia-Copperbelt Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ebi Hachibamba (10 - 1 - 2) who hails from Ndola, Zambia and Duante Matongo(8 - 7 - 1) from Kitwe, Zambia.  Hachibamba weighed in at 146 pounds and 6 ounces, while Matongo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Faraji Jobe, and the three ringside judges are Kaleb Mukwena, Napoleon Mwaanga and Jasper Munda.
