Mikio Furuya vs Joseph Wilson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Northern Ireland promoted show at UK-Northern Ireland Gym, Belfast,  taking place on 07/12/2024:

Clearly AI UK-Northern Ireland have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mikio Furuya (9(2) - 1) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Joseph JoJo Wilson(3 - 1) from Liverpool, UK.  Both Furuya and Wilson weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eoin McPhee, and the three ringside judges are Oisin Beirne, David Hastie and Clint Guild.  

Round 1: 

Wilson attempts to land a cross, but Furuya blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Furuya switches the action to the outside.  Furuya lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Wilson tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Furuya is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Wilson steps inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Wilson hits home with a right hook.

Furuya hits home with a cross.  
Wilson cuts off the ring, trapping Furuya on the ropes.  Wilson pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Furuya's ribs.

Furuya tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND DROPS WILSON TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  
Furuya is looking to keep the action on the outside and EXPLODES a FIERCE cross into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE WILSON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Wilson almost instantly gets his legs back.
