Owen Hogge vs Aimon Ortiz

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 08/03/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the WRBO Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Owen Hogge (12(6) - 0) who hails from Wollongong, Australia and Aimon Ortiz(19(5) - 1(1)) from Cochabamba, Bolivia.  Hogge weighed in at 108 pounds, while Ortiz weighed in at 107 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Durie, and the three ringside judges are Paul Phaup, Barry Forbes and Glynn Profit.
