Njord Steinback vs Thurston Haug

Boxing Daily Report from the Valhalla promotions promoted show at Ekeberghalen, Oslo,  taking place on 16/01/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal+ Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Njord Steinback (7 - 0) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Thurston Haug(3 - 6(1) - 5) from Oslo, Norway.  Both Steinback and Haug weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ker Martinson, and the three ringside judges are Dana Larsen, Oliver Vinje and Roscoe Vold.  

Round 1: 

Haug throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Steinback gets on the inside.  Steinback backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Haug steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.
