Iwao Kuba vs Takeshi Hamasaki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Rich Stadium, Himeji,  taking place on 08/01/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Hyogo Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Iwao Kuba (10(2) - 0 - 1) who hails from Amagasaki, Japan and Takeshi Hamasaki(7 - 7 - 2) from Kakogawa, Japan.  Both Kuba and Hamasaki weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hajime Nishioka, and the three ringside judges are Iwao Sumida, Fumio Matsuno and Satoshi Abe.
