Sam Axtell vs Sid Liddell

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 19/01/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Sam Axtell (12 - 0) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Sid Liddell(11 - 3 - 2) from Perth, Australia.  Both Axtell and Liddell weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Francesco Ghiglia, and the three ringside judges are Hugh Durie, Ewan Duffy and Hugh Durie.  

Round 1:
