Marlen Samourgachev vs Igor Novikoff

Boxing Daily Report from the Omane Promotions promoted show at Taganrog Smyshlyaev, Taganrog,  taking place on 21/01/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Russia-Rostov Oblast Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Marlen Samourgachev (11 - 0) who hails from Rostov-on-Don, Russia and Igor Novikoff(5 - 3 - 4) from Rostov-on-Don, Russia.  Samourgachev weighed in at 134 pounds and 14 ounces, while Novikoff weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Afanas Sliva, and the three ringside judges are Dimi Tcherezov, Marlen Sorokin and Zernebog Dobroskok.
