Vasyl Kozuch vs Ioakim Wasil

Boxing Daily Report from the Kpegah Promotions promoted show at Zaporizhia Vitko, Zaporizhia,  taking place on 12/01/2025:

Clearly Kpegah Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vasyl Kozuch (7 - 0) who hails from Zaporizhia, Ukraine and Ioakim Wasil(1 - 7) from Lviv, Ukraine.  Both Kozuch and Wasil weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Viktor Shevchenko, and the three ringside judges are Vasyl Bartosh, Pylyp Filas and Aleksei Primack.  

Round 1: 

Kozuch lands with a ramrod jab.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Wasil dabs at his face checking for damage.

Kozuch sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a hard jab.  Kozuch goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Wasil's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Kozuch advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Kozuch lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Kozuch clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Kozuch pushes his forearm into Wasil's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kozuch advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Kozuch lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Kozuch attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Wasil to the neutral corner.  He warns Kozuch that continued fouling will result in a point deduction.
