Boxing Daily Report from the AI Guatemala-Guatemala promoted show at Gimnasio Alfonso Gordillo, Guatemala City,  taking place on 13/01/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Americas Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on El Súper Canal, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Montego Ortiz (15(2) - 0) who hails from Resistencia, Argentina and Montenegro Marquina(12 - 2) from Mixco, Guatemala.  Both Ortiz and Marquina weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montana Acebo, and the three ringside judges are Gervasio Gamez, Orlando Arboleda and Ovidio Simeon.
