Mel Kidd vs Berne Gensler

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Wales promoted show at Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff,  taking place on 14/01/2025:

Clearly AI UK-Wales have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a tournament fight from Ultimate Boxing Cham.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Mel Kidd (6 - 2(1)) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Berne Gensler(1 - 3 - 1) from Zurich, Switzerland.  Kidd weighed in at 239 pounds and 3 ounces, while Gensler weighed in at 212 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is David Ladd, and the three ringside judges are Ian Malcomb, Ollie Hoose and Tom McRobbie.
