Peter McCleary vs Yann Van Amere

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at National Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 24/01/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the EU Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Peter McCleary (15(3) - 1 - 2) who hails from Limerick, Ireland and Yann Van Amere(13 - 2 - 1) from Eindhoven, Netherlands.  Both McCleary and Van Amere weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Rafferty, and the three ringside judges are Eoin McCadden, Charlie Brisbane and Lee Beirne.
