Roswald Handke vs Terell Leitz

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Austria-Vienna promoted show at Vienna Satzer, Vienna,  taking place on 14/01/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Austria-Vienna Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Puls4, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Roswald Handke (12 - 4 - 2) who hails from Vienna, Austria and Terell Leitz(11 - 7(1)) from Vienna, Austria.  Handke weighed in at 125 pounds and 10 ounces, while Leitz weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ormand Halden, and the three ringside judges are Tretan Damrau, Raimond Pahlbod and Roderich Maravic.  

Round 1: 

Leitz gets on the inside.  Handke throws a left uppercut, but Leitz ties up his opponent.  Leitz leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Handke steps to the outside.  Leitz lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Leitz gets on the inside.  Leitz quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Handke switches the action to the outside.  Leitz connects with an overhand left.  
Leitz gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Leitz is on target with a right hook to Handke's ribcage.  
Leitz cuts off the ring, trapping Handke in a neutral corner.  Leitz attempts to land a right hook, but Handke parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
As Leitz tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Handke dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Leitz gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Handke's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Leitz's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Leitz gets on the inside.  Handke sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Handke hits home with a left hook.  Leitz clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Leitz pushes his forearm into Handke's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Leitz about fouling.  
Leitz quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Handke is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Handke pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Handke switches the action to the outside.  Leitz drives a cross into Handke's body.  
Leitz closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Leitz holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Leitz pushes his forearm into Handke's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Leitz about fouling.  
Leitz gets on the inside and forces Handke to retreat onto the ropes.  Leitz lands a left hook.  
Leitz hits home with a right hook.  
Handke switches the action to the outside.  Leitz throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Leitz is looking to close the distance.  Handke drives a left hook into Leitz's body.

That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Handke.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
