Kong Jew vs Yutaka Fukuda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Hirohata Gymnasium, Himeji,  taking place on 15/01/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kong Jew (9 - 0 - 1) who hails from Hangzhou, China and Yutaka Fukuda(2 - 11) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Jew and Fukuda weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jun Oe, and the three ringside judges are Jiro Matsubara, Michi Soma and Satoshi Sakamoto.  

Round 1: 

Fukuda manages to force Jew into a corner.  Jew throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Jew closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Jew connects with a right hook.  
Jew lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Jew ties up his opponent.  Fukuda uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Jew's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.
