Waleed Basher vs Asif Rasheed

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Razavi Khorasan promoted show at Shahid Beheshti Sport Complex, Mashhad,  taking place on 15/01/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the West Asian Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Waleed Basher (14 - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Tehran, Iran and Asif Rasheed(13(5) - 1 - 3) from Mashhad, Iran.  Both Basher and Rasheed weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Syed Rajput, and the three ringside judges are Amer Farman, Khalid Nasser and Ibrahim Jamal.
