Nikifor á Penchev vs Blazhe á Borev

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Bulgaria-Plovdiv promoted show at Plovdiv Barkov, Plovdiv,  taking place on 15/01/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Bulgaria-Plovdiv Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Diema Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nikifor á Penchev (8 - 5 - 5) who hails from Plovdiv, Bulgaria and Blazhe á Borev(10 - 3 - 4) from Plovdiv, Bulgaria.  Penchev weighed in at 232 pounds and 1 ounces, while Borev weighed in at 249 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ilarion á Guentchev, and the three ringside judges are Atanas á Radostev, Hristofor á Gueorgiev and Grozdan á Petrov.
