Sammy Wight vs Larenzo Malara

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 08/03/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the WRBC Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sammy The Brisbane Bomber Wight (16(8) - 0) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Larenzo Malara(14(5) - 3(1) - 1) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Wight and Malara weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Phaup, and the three ringside judges are Barry Forbes, Hugh Durie and Glynn Profit.
