Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Borno State promoted show at Maiduguri Karim, Maiduguri,  taking place on 16/01/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Western African Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vermont Fontaine (15(4) - 1(1)) who hails from Bouake, Ivory Coast and Chigozie Ekpo(10 - 0) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.
