Elias Bail vs Ponce Carabello

Boxing Daily Report from the Ngcobo Promotions promoted show at Havana Tercero, Havana,  taking place on 16/01/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Elias Bail (11 - 3 - 1) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Ponce Carabello(8 - 5 - 2) from Camaguey, Cuba.  Both Bail and Carabello weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montel Palencia, and the three ringside judges are Luis Sanchez, Federico Bracero and Agapetus Triana.  

Round 1: 

Bail tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Bail pivots to the left of his opponent.  Carabello lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
