Juan Avendano vs Alejandro Plata

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Distrito Capital promoted show at Sancho Daniel Gym, Bogota,  taking place on 16/01/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Distrito Capital Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Avendano (10 - 6 - 3) who hails from Bogota, Colombia and Alejandro Plata(9 - 6 - 1) from Bogota, Colombia.  Avendano weighed in at 139 pounds and 5 ounces, while Plata weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Senon Lucas, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Manuel, Emanuel Atienza and Beltran Marzo.
