Ponce Martinez vs Marjun Saldana

Boxing Daily Report from the Atsu Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo Oeste Montealeg, Santo Domingo Oeste,  taking place on 17/01/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ponce Martinez (7 - 1) who hails from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic and Marjun Saldana(4 - 7 - 6) from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic.  Martinez weighed in at 140 pounds, while Saldana weighed in at 139 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Esteban Favela, and the three ringside judges are Javier Renteria, Selestino Tijerina and Carlos Carreno.
