Frank Scott vs Paul McKenzie

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Northern England promoted show at Bradford Ice Arena, Bradford,  taking place on 18/01/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Frank Scott (12(1) - 1) who hails from Aberdeen, UK and Paul McKenzie(19(1) - 1) from Bolton, UK.  Both Scott and McKenzie weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Macmillan, and the three ringside judges are Haaris Obeid, Paul Ladd and Rhod Secombe.  

Round 1: 

Scott digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
McKenzie digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Scott lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Scott connects with a cross.  
Scott hits home with a solid left hook.  
Scott digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
McKenzie is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  McKenzie throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Scott lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Scott hits home with a stinging cross.  
Scott steps inside.  McKenzie throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
McKenzie is on target with a left hook.  
Scott lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
The right shot from Scott could be enough to force the stoppage!  Scott lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS MCKENZIE DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  It looks like McKenzie has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Scott whips in a hurtful left hook to McKenzie's body.  MCKENZIE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  McKenzie almost instantly recovers. 
McKenzie is on target with a right uppercut to Scott's ribs.  
Scott gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Scott lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS MCKENZIE TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Scott!
