Fisnik Shehu vs Carlos Menendez

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at Playboy Nightclub, Asuncion,  taking place on 20/01/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Fisnik Shehu (3 - 1) who hails from Tirana, Albania and Carlos Menendez(2 - 4 - 4) from Sacaba, Bolivia.  Both Shehu and Menendez weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Loredo Galban, and the three ringside judges are Nemesio Vidales, Senon Chino and Eduardo Lugar.  

Round 1: 

Shehu lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Shehu gets on the inside and lands a solid right hook.

Shehu steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Shehu closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Menendez in a corner.  Shehu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Menendez lands a cross to Shehu's body.  
Shehu steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Shehu attempts to land a jab, but Menendez sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Shehu closes the distance and lands a firm left hook.

Menendez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Menendez tries to land a cross, but Shehu parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Shehu tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Menendez goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Shehu time to recover.  
Shehu manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Shehu lands a hard jab.  
Shehu lands a left hook.  
Shehu is on target with a left uppercut.

Shehu lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.
