Ora Nicodemus vs Michi Obara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Osaka promoted show at Azalea Taisho Hall, Osaka,  taking place on 13/01/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ora Nicodemus (0 - 0) who hails from Camaguey, Cuba and Michi Obara(1 - 3) from Nagoya, Japan.  Nicodemus weighed in at 126 pounds, while Obara weighed in at 125 pounds And 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Naoki Shiraki, and the three ringside judges are Kei Ueda, Yoshi Nakano and Kazuhiko Tsutsumi.

Nicodemus throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Nicodemus holds on to his opponent.  Nicodemus pushes his forearm into Obara's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Obara hits home with a right hook.  Nicodemus ties up his opponent.  Nicodemus pushes his forearm into Obara's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nicodemus about fouling.
