Eiji Kubo vs Jun Hagiwara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Hikaru Anno Gym, Akashi,  taking place on 23/01/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hyogo Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eiji Kubo (8 - 6 - 1) who hails from Kobe, Japan and Jun Hagiwara(12 - 0) from Kobe, Japan.  Both Kubo and Hagiwara weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kazuhiko Hayashi, and the three ringside judges are Ryo Ohara, Hiro Noda and Iwao Sumida.  

Round 1: 

Hagiwara closes the distance.  Hagiwara pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
