Santiago Barreras vs Juan Fortun

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at Gimnasio Las Palma, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 22/01/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Honduras Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Todo Deportes TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Barreras (14 - 5) who hails from Choloma, Honduras and Juan Fortun(8 - 7(1) - 2) from Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  Both Barreras and Fortun weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gonzalo Balasco, and the three ringside judges are Marjun Imperial, Gonzalo Enriquez and Saturnin Tinajero.
