Jack Darling vs Dev Jha

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at UT Arlington College Park Center, Arlington,  taking place on 01/02/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jack Darling (13(8) - 0 - 1) who hails from Fort Smith, USA and Dev Jha(6 - 6 - 5) from Mumbai, India.  Both Darling and Jha weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Smith, and the three ringside judges are Mike Ruane, Harry Burwick and Paul Mings.  

Round 1: 

Darling is on target with a firm right hook to Jha's body.  Darling ties up his opponent.  Darling is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Darling.  Darling throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Darling is looking to close the distance and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Darling holds on to his opponent.  Darling throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Jha pivots from in front of his opponent.  Jha tries to land a jab, but Darling sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Darling closes the distance and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Jha slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Darling lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Darling forces Jha to back into the corner.  Darling hits home with a solid left hook.  
Darling lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Darling lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Darling steps inside and connects with a left hook.  Darling holds on to his opponent.  Darling tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Jha's kidney. The ref breaks Darling's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
