Phil McFarlane vs Dirk Gieger

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at ExCel Arena, London,  taking place on 13/01/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Phil McFarlane (9 - 0) who hails from London, UK and Dirk Gieger(4 - 2) from Dresden, Germany.  Both McFarlane and Gieger weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Rhind, and the three ringside judges are Brett Henrie, Mel Williams and James Killough.  

Round 1: 

McFarlane throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
