Shinji Fukuda vs Dai Ishii

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Fukuoka promoted show at Shojima Gymnasium, Kurume,  taking place on 26/01/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shinji Fukuda (11 - 2) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Dai Ishii(11 - 4) from Shizuoka, Japan.  Fukuda weighed in at 236 pounds and 1 ounces, while Ishii weighed in at 220 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Naoki Hasegawa, and the three ringside judges are Ryo Kaba, Akira Umemoto and Hiroki Shimabukuro.
