Ponce Quijano vs Onofre Cato

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Chile-Antofagasta promoted show at Jose Quiles Gym, Antofagasta,  taking place on 26/01/2025:

Clearly AI Chile-Antofagasta have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Chile-Antofagasta Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ponce Quijano (9 - 6 - 1(NC)) who hails from Antofagasta, Chile and Onofre Cato(9 - 5 - 1(NC)) from Antofagasta, Chile.  Quijano weighed in at 200 pounds, while Cato weighed in at 199 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Iago Venegas, and the three ringside judges are Jeraldo Batres, Joaquin Lino and Manuel Pedroza.  

Round 1: 

Cato steps inside and digs in a left hook to Quijano's body.
