Zafa Faris vs Azam Farooq

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkhwazi Promotions promoted show at Petaling Jaya Sial, Petaling Jaya,  taking place on 26/01/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Malaysia-Selangor Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zafa Faris (10 - 4 - 5) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Azam Farooq(9 - 7 - 3) from Shah Alam, Malaysia.  Faris weighed in at 129 pounds And 13 ounces, while Farooq weighed in at 129 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Khalid Wassan, and the three ringside judges are Danyaal Waheed, Rashid Saad and Kamran Ahmed.
