Paul Nopendi vs Shayan Waseer

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at BIEC, Bangalore,  taking place on 20/01/2025:

Clearly TFI have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Paul Nopendi (3(1) - 0) who hails from Bekasi, Indonesia and Shayan Waseer(3 - 2(1) - 1) from New Delhi, India.  Nopendi weighed in at 108 pounds, while Waseer weighed in at 106 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Pradeep Natt, and the three ringside judges are Rahul Shetty, Chiranjeevi Padmanabhan and Girish Bajwa.  

Round 1: 

Nopendi connects with a cross.

Nopendi gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nopendi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Waseer's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Waseer's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Nopendi feints a cross, and then EXPLODES a nasty cross into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE WASEER WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Waseer almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Waseer is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Nopendi lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Nopendi lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Nopendi clinches his opponent.  Nopendi hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Waseer throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.
