Joshua Gilfillan vs Jordan Denny

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Ray Stokes Hall, Christchurch,  taking place on 27/01/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Canterbury Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joshua Gilfillan (16(1) - 1) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Jordan Denny(4 - 7 - 3) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Gilfillan and Denny weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Sprouse, and the three ringside judges are Dave Pera, Stephen Suite and Jonathan Lockaby.  

Round 1:
