Miguel Nery vs Emilio Oliva

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nicaragua-Leon promoted show at Leon Giraldo, Leon,  taking place on 29/01/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nicaragua Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Miguel Nery (7 - 1) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Emilio Oliva(8 - 1) from Leon, Nicaragua.  Nery weighed in at 122 pounds, while Oliva weighed in at 121 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fraco Tafoya, and the three ringside judges are Diego Galano, Diego Cuesta and Guillermo Eusebio.
