Elias Cacho vs Berto Pompa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Spain-Basque Country promoted show at Bilbao Terrones, Bilbao,  taking place on 31/01/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Spain-Basque Country Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Marca TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elias Cacho (7 - 0) who hails from Bilbao, Spain and Berto Pompa(9 - 2 - 1) from Bilbao, Spain.  Cacho weighed in at 130 pounds, while Pompa weighed in at 129 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dimos Artiles, and the three ringside judges are Elias Cristobal, Montego Balles and Iago Leandro.  

Round 1: 

Cacho gets on the inside and forces Pompa to back into the red corner.  Cacho sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.
