Tung Mai vs Fo-hsing Ngueng

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Sichuan promoted show at Liang Hui Gym, Chengdu,  taking place on 01/02/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Sichuan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tung Mai (9 - 1) who hails from Chengdu, China and Fo-hsing Ngueng(5 - 1) from Chengdu, China.  Both Mai and Ngueng weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Manchu Geng, and the three ringside judges are Niao-ka Bau, HuiK'o Ngan and Manchu Geng.  

Round 1: 

Ngueng backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Mai tries to tag Ngueng on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!
