Jiang Koon vs On Nga

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Guangxi promoted show at Nanning International Convention Center Hibiscus Hall, Nanning,  taking place on 10/02/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the China-Guangxi Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on His TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jiang Koon (8(5) - 0) who hails from Guigang, China and On Nga(6 - 6 - 2) from Liuzhou, China.  Koon weighed in at 125 pounds and 11 ounces, while Nga weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lao-Tzu Fung, and the three ringside judges are Chen Tom, Li-Liang Un and An Jung.  

Round 1: 

Koon gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Koon ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Koon pushes his forearm into Nga's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Koon about fouling.

Koon forces Nga to back into the blue corner.  Koon lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Koon ties up his opponent.  The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Koon to stop holding.  
Nga tries to land a cross, but Koon sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Nga's body.
