Hugh Burns vs Michael Kenna

Boxing Daily Report from the Magicman promoted show at Max Waddle Gym, New York City,  taking place on 02/02/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid Atlantic Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hugh Burns (12 - 2) who hails from New York City, USA and Michael Kenna(16 - 2) from New Haven, USA.  Burns weighed in at 140 pounds, while Kenna weighed in at 139 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rich Kelly, and the three ringside judges are Seth Owens, Paul Santistevan and Daniel Leask.  

Round 1: 

Kenna closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.
