Ben Strachan vs Ian Keough

Boxing Daily Report from the Attoh Promotions promoted show at Albuquerque Bosquez, Albuquerque,  taking place on 02/02/2025:

Clearly Attoh Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-SouthWest Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ben Strachan (10 - 6) who hails from El Paso, USA and Ian Keough(10 - 3) from Albuquerque, USA.  Strachan weighed in at 135 pounds, while Keough weighed in at 134 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kris Lorimer, and the three ringside judges are Waqas Saah, Danyaal Zehri and Danyaal Zehri.  

Round 1: 

Keough gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to Strachan's body.  
Strachan attempts to land a jab, but Keough slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Keough advances into close range.  Strachan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Keough attempts to land a right hook, but Strachan blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Keough is on target with a left uppercut to Strachan's body.  
Keough closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to Strachan's body.  Keough clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Keough pushes his forearm into Strachan's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Keough to stop fouling.
