Dillon Agnew vs Robert Eddie

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 11/01/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Dillon Agnew (2 - 0) who hails from Memphis, USA and Robert Eddie(9 - 6 - 2) from Sunshine Coast, Australia.  Both Agnew and Eddie weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ewan Duffy, and the three ringside judges are Steven Candreva, Francesco Ghiglia and Joel Glines.  

Round 1: 

Agnew is looking to close the distance and is on target with a firm left hook.  
Eddie is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a jab, but Agnew parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Agnew gets on the inside.  Agnew pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a stinging left hook.
