Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 19/01/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are David Kelley (5 - 0) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Ollie McCaulley(15 - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Kelley weighed in at 159 pounds And 13 ounces, while McCaulley weighed in at 159 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ewan Duffy, and the three ringside judges are Hugh Durie, Francesco Ghiglia and Hugh Durie.  

Round 1: 

McCaulley gets on the inside.  McCaulley goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Kelley time to recover.
