Ryuu Nakayama vs Shin Konishi

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo,  taking place on 22/02/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Tokyo Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryuu Nakayama (9 - 7 - 1) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Shin Konishi(9 - 5 - 3) from Tokyo, Japan.  Nakayama weighed in at 199 pounds and 2 ounces, while Konishi weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hikaru Mikami, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Nakazawa, Ryo Shiroma and Kazuhiko Ide.
